NUSWhispers – Confession #43246
While I applaud the university for allowing us to use our computers, the platform used by NUS (Examsoft) is really disappointing. The instructions emailed to us are not only unclear (for instance, lacking key information on the download deadlines), they also downright confusing.
The Examsoft interface is all pinned up and labelled with this app called "SofTest" but the instructions warned us to download "Examplify" instead (which is nowhere to be found on the Examsoft interface). Purely by chance and only after clicking "Download" under the "SofTest" tab (the one which we were explicitly told not to download), did I manage to download the correct "Examplify" app.
What's worse, even after all these hiccups, the Examplify app still failed to install properly.
To add fuel to the fire, we're even asked not to upgrade our OS during the entire semester? Come on Examsoft, what era do you think we live in?
I'm posting my concerns on this platform because if Examsoft cannot even get these simple things right, I'm not sure how their "feedback and support" will fare. Exams are around the corner and we don't need more stress. Can Examsoft get their shit together?
